The Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission is a legislative commission staffed by the Division of Legislative Services. Support to the Commission is also provided by the House Clerk's Office, the General Assembly's money committees, and the Department of Planning and Budget. By statute, technical assistance is provided by the Virginia Historical Society.
