Event is included with admission to Museum of Confederacy-Appomattox. John Milleker Photography will be on site demonstrating the Wet Plate Collodion process along with discussing photography during the Civil War. Portrait sittings will also be offered; have your likeness made on glass or metal exactly as it would have been 150 years ago at this historic event. Based near Baltimore, Maryland, John Milleker practices, lectures, and teaches photographic processes from the dawn of photography to modern digital techniques. Scheduled demonstration times will be: April 9:11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM; April 10: 10:15 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:15 PM; April 11: 10:15 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:15 PM; April 12: 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM. Each demonstration lasts 30-45 minutes. They will be taking "likenesses" all day. Presented by the Museum of the Confederacy-Appomattox.
