Lexington's Civil War

On Friday, March 23, 2012, the Stonewall Jackson House and the VMI Museum have planned a series of lectures and walking tours that conclude with the VMI parade at 4:30 p.m. These events are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.

On Friday, March 23, 2012, the Stonewall Jackson House and the VMI Museum have planned a series of lectures and walking tours that conclude with the VMI parade at 4:30 p.m. The Friday daytime events, Lexington's Civil War, are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.

Land Not Lost

Art Exhibit: Land Not Lost: Contemporary Views of the Virginia Landscape. This exhibition of photography and paintings presents contemporary Virginia artists whose works illustrate a deep connection with the regional landscape, over which nearly sixty percent of the American Civil War took place. Staniar Gallery, The Lenfest Center, Washington and Lee University.
